We have a Linn mill mounted on rails permanently attached to a concrete slab. 20' max length, 22" max width.
When an interesting log is fastened down to the rails and the saw begins to take off wood, one layer at a time, it is absolutely spellbinding to see what is revealed with each new cut. So much beauty hidden inside these logs. The older, the more crooked and rotten, the better.

Terry's mini-excavator.
It is a Kubota U55-4.
Terry bought a new Kubota this year and has been digging ditches, landscaping, pulling Christmas tree stumps and cleaning up his new property across the street from our home. He is hiring out to folks in our area that need similar jobs done on their own places.
